The Daily Diffie
Because what the Internet needs is more cell phone photos of dogs.

We were going to go for a very long walk in Central Park today, but it’s been raining all morning, so Diffie’s pouting on the windowsill instead.

Diffie loves other people (and little kids!), but she gets nervous around other dogs sometimes, especially if they’re small. She’s not really ready to go into the dog run at the park, but every time we’re there, we walk around the outside so she can poke her head in, check things out, and occasionally meet someone. I’m hoping that after a few weeks or months of this, she can join in!

There weren’t many people at the park this morning, but we did discover the Secret Squirrel Hiding Place and Diffie treed five squirrels!

Bill’s visiting for the weekend! Diffie decided to sleep with him last night even though there really isn’t room for both a dog and a human on the couch.

Diffie finally got brave enough to put her paws on the windowsill, even though it means standing over the big scary gap between the bed and the wall.

It was super-nice out again today, so we went for a walk in the park and then spent some time lying on front of the open window in bed.

Another photo from yesterday’s walk. The park near us (Carl Schurz Park) is really beautifully landscaped. Hooray for spring!
